Is My Blog A Secret?

The answer to that is yes. Technically my blog is a secret among people in my actual life. In fact, the only person who knows about my blog is my boyfriend Craig.

WHY DO I KEEP IT A SECRET?
Well, if you've read my previous post on Why I started blogging, you would have found out that I am really shy in real life. It took a lot of guts for me to even sign up for a blogger account. Even though its been over a year and a half since I've started blogging, I still feel a bit uneasy when I think of someone from my everyday life somehow stumbling upon my blog. I don't know why exactly. I am by no means embarrassed by my blog. I just feel like I would probably get criticized for it though. I'm totally fine with criticism but I just don't feel like I'm quite ready to face criticism from say family members just yet. Because honestly if I were to face criticism from someone in my family I know I would definitely take it to heart. I don't want to be made to feel the slightest bit bad about something I love doing so much. On the other hand, they may think its awesome! I'll never know as long as I keep this here blog a secret.

WILL I EVER TELL PEOPLE ABOUT MY BLOG?
I want to say yes. I think eventually I will get to a point where I just don't care what other people think and finally spill the beans about it! I'm kind of excited for this day to arrive actually. Not any time soon, but maybe that's something I'll work towards within the next year!

DO YOU KEEP YOUR BLOG A SECRET?

Getting Summer Ready!

I am SO ready for Summer!! Winter around here seems to last forever and most of the time I feel like we just skip right over Spring. So Summer is a time I find myself longing for. I've recently found myself in possession of some great summer products and its made me think about getting ready for all of that beautiful, hot, sunny weather!

SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN!

To me, there's nothing more important than using sunscreen during the summer. My skin is extremely sensitive and I usually won't even get a sunburn while in the sun. I tend to just get all rashy and weird looking. A good sunscreen definitely helps with that though! A fantastic brand I've recently been introduced to is Alba Botanica. The sunscreen has an SPF of 40, is water resistant and is scent free. I'm actually kind of bummed that its scent free because I really love the smell of sunscreen but oh well! It does what its meant to do.

FLIP FLOPS!

Oh flip flops, how I've missed wearing you! I cannot wait to throw aside the sneakers and socks and break out these bad boys! The beach is callin' my name!

Sadly, that's all I have ready for Summer so far. Bathing suits and a summer bod to go along with them will have to wait at least another month when this little baby taking over my body decides to come out! I can't wait to go shopping for some post-pregnancy summer clothes!

ARE YOU AS EXCITED FOR SUMMER AS I AM?

*Alba Botanica sunscreen was sent for review. All opinions are 100% my own
*Havaianas flip flops were gifted to me

Why I Started Blogging

I started blogging a little over a year and a half ago and it occurred to me that I've never talked about why I started blogging.

I WANTED TO STEP OUTSIDE OF MY COMFORT ZONE
I have been shy my entire life. Being shy has held me back from doing quite a lot of things throughout my life. I started watching Youtube a few years ago and I always envied the people I watched because they were so comfortable with themselves and putting their lives on the internet for the world to see. A few of the Youtubers I watched at the time also had blogs and so I started reading their blogs as well as watching their videos. I remember thinking how awesome it would be to write a blog. It didn't matter if anyone else saw it. Heck, in the beginning I think I would have preferred if no one saw it! As time went on and the more blogs I read, I couldn't stop thinking about starting my own blog. I knew I wanted to do it but I was so afraid! Why? I don't know. I think I was petrified of putting myself out there. One day I casually brought up the subject of starting a blog to my boyfriend and he thought it would be a cool idea. With that I thought, yeah, I can do this! I don't need to tell anyone about my blog. I just want to do it for me! So I took the plunge and pushed myself to set up a blogger account.

I WANTED MY OWN SPACE TO SHARE MY INTERESTS
I love telling people about my days. I love talking about what I did that day, where I went, new places I've been to eat, etc. Not always, but sometimes, I feel like the people in my life aren't very interested in the same things as me. For example I love going to museums. Other than Craig, the rest of my family members don't view going to the museums as very much fun so when I talk about them, its kind of like 'oh, well that's nice'. With my blog I feel like I have the freedom to express any interests I have and there's bound to be at least one person who feels the same way. And even if there's not, I still feel okay posting about those interests anyway because this is my space. I'll know that I can always look back on special moments or places I've visited because I have them documented on this blog.

I LIKED THE IDEA OF DESIGNING MY BLOG
One of the things that excited me the most about starting a blog was being able to design it myself. I'm certainly not a professional designer by any means but its just something I find a lot of joy in. I can literally sit down for hours coming up with a new look, designing a new header and learning all kinds of new html codes. I just love it! If you're a long time reader of my blog you definitely know how much I change the look of my blog! (Just for fun you can check out this post I wrote a few months ago sharing all of the different headers my blog went through in just one year of blogging!) I think it takes me back to the good ol' piczo website days. Does anyone remember making those websites? I would spend forever trying to learn html codes for it!

LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS WHY YOU STARTED BLOGGING! IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BLOG, HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO START ONE BUT WERE TOO SHY LIKE I WAS?

PREGNANCY DIARY | Attack of the Cold Sore

Sunday, April 17th- I had a fantastic day. I can't remember exactly everything I did that day but there was ice cream involved so I know it had to be a good day. I followed Craig to bed that night and settled in reading a book while he drifted off to sleep. I was getting sleepy myself and was ready to turn in for the night when I felt it. A tightening of my bottom lip. I gave it a little lick and was horrified when I felt that old familiar bump. I jumped out of bed- more like rolled- and waddled my way to the bathroom mirror. There it was. A cold sore- just my luck.

I honesty couldn't believe that a cold sore had popped out. Now, I'm no newbie to getting them, in fact I've had plenty throughout my life. But, I've been cold sore free for the past three years and quite frankly, I was enjoying it. Here's a little background history:

I was the unfortunate victim of the cold sore virus at the young age of eight. So no, I did not catch a cold sore from kissing any boys or anything like that. I most likely caught the virus from drinking from a glass or something of the sort from someone else who had one. Sucks to be me. After that initial outbreak the virus lay dormant for some time. I didn't get another cold sore until I was sixteen. That's when it all went downhill. From the age of sixteen until twenty-two, I had at least one cold sore every year. They usually popped up in January- don't ask me why but I'm guessing it had a lot to do with the colder weather starting and the drying and cracking of my lips usually started around then. I remember my last cold sore. January of 2013. I know this because I decided to mark down the date so I could know exactly how long I could go without getting another one. By some miracle, I was no longer getting them once a year. The virus decided once again to lay dormant for over three years.

So why now? After three glorious years of having sore-free lips, why did they have to return? Well, I found out the culprit. Pregnancy.

Yep, after doing some research on it, it turns out pregnancy is a favorite time for cold sores to rear their ugly heads. What with your hormones being all out of whack during this time- as if that already wasn't bad enough. I've even read a couple of stories from other women that experienced their very first cold sores while being pregnant.

I guess you could say I've been feeling a little down this week. A lot of people think- what's the big deal? It's just a cold sore. It's not the end of the world. But that's the thing, its always felt like a big deal to me. My confidence levels aren't very high on a good day so throwing a cold sore into the mix really brings me down. Even though nobody is paying attention to what's on my face, it always feels like everyone is staring at me. It makes me feel like a walking disease.

But! To be completely honest this time around wasn't all that bad. I still felt gross but I have a few secret weapons I use to battle cold sores that usually shorten the life span of the cold sore by at least a week. I actually wrote a post about those secret weapons long ago that you can find here.

So its been a week and its almost gone. Not completely but it isn't exactly noticeable any more, so I'm happy. I just hope that was the only one I get during this pregnancy!

Have you ever experienced cold sores? What do you use to treat them?

Popsugar Reading Challenge Update #1

Back in January I posted about the 2016 Popsugar Reading Challenge. I decided I would post an update after I read 5 books from the challenge instead of doing 40 individual posts on each one. You can check out the challenges by clicking here!

1| A MURDER MYSTERY- INVISIBLE by JAMES PATTERSON
I don't know if you'd actually classify this as a 'murder mystery' but the book was filled with murders and they had to figure out who was doing the killing so that sounds like a murder mystery to me. This book was about a woman named Emma who spent her days trying to find out her sisters killer. Everyone else thinks she's a little crazy because there was no evidence of foul play but Emma is convinced and she soon uncovers the truth.

2| A BOOK FROM OPRAH'S BOOK CLUB- THE ROAD by CORMAC MCCARTHY
Such a great book! A little unnerving in parts but such a good read. A man and his son set out on a journey to warmer climate after the world is left in ruin. I can't even really describe this novel. All I can say is I highly recommend reading it.

3| A BOOK THAT'S BECOMING A MOVIE THIS YEAR- LIBRARY OF SOULS by RANSOM RIGGS
This is the third instalment of the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children series. I know there is going to be a Miss Peregrine movie coming out this year and I just assumed it would include bits from all 3 books. Maybe it won't but the way the novels are written I can't see them just ending the movie the way the first book ended. They all kind of roll into one another. Besides that I'm pretty sure Tim Burton is directing it and if i'm correct, he doesn't usually do '3 part' movies so I can see him incorporating the whole series into one movie. Who knows though!

4| A BOOK RECOMMENDED BY A FAMILY MEMBER- SEE ME by NICHOLAS SPARKS
I don't think I've read a Nicholas Sparks book that I didn't love! Including this one. This was, however, my first time reading a Nicholas Sparks book that didn't make me cry! It was what you'd expect from one of his novels- a romance. But! This one also had a lot of action and suspense which I wasn't expecting from him. A girl falls for a guy who wouldn't typically be her type- she's a lawyer and he is someone who had a lot of trouble with the law. Throughout the book a former client of hers seems to be stalking her. Its really good!

5| A YA BESTSELLER- THE FAULT IN OUR STARS by JOHN GREEN
I don't think I need to tell anyone about this book. I'm sure everyone and their grandmother has read it by now! I will say though, I feel like maybe I just don't get it with some things. Like, there's a lot of things that the world seems to rave about and I just don't like them. I'm not saying I didn't like this book but it certainly wasn't the amazing novel I was expecting. I don't know, maybe it was just too hyped up by the time I actually got around to reading it but it sort of fell flat for me. Or maybe its because I truly don't like reading/watching anything that has to do with cancer. Scares me a little. Let me know your thoughts on the book- was it as good as you were hoping or were you slightly disappointed like me?

Current Skincare Routine | Live Clean Fresh Face

Maybe I should change this title to I finally have a skincare routine! Because I have searched long and hard for the perfect products that work well for my face in order to obtain some sort of 'routine'. And of course Live Clean is where its at. Seeing as though this is my holy grail brand I don't know why I didn't try out their Fresh Face range sooner! (And just to clarify, this is not a sponsored post! I bought these products myself to test.)

I'm always a little hesitant when it comes to buying face products, especially moisturizers and cleansers, because my skin is extremely sensitive and I break out in hives if something doesn't agree with me. You can imagine my delight when I ventured over to the Live Clean section at Walmart and found these face products in a small travel sized sample kit for only $10.00! Perfect for testing out before taking the plunge and buying the full sized versions.

The pack included:

50 ml Foaming Daily Cleanser
30 ml Soothing Daily Moisturizer
20 g Smoothing Facial Scrub
30 ml Nourishing Night Cream

I'll start off with the cleanser. Cleanser is something I barely even thought to use before and now I can't imagine starting my day off without it! I use 3 to 4 pumps and it comes out in a nice clean foam that feels extremely gentle but makes my face feel so clean afterwards. Its gentle enough to use both morning and night. The moisturizer in my opinion is just perfect. I have tried and tested numerous moisturizers over the past year or so just trying to find something that my skin liked and this is it. Its light and creamy and a little goes a very long way! Its super absorbent too. You can feel it soaking in before you even finish putting it all over your face and doesn't leave my face feeling greasy at all.

Being a newbie to trying facial scrubs, I didn't really know what to expect. Let me tell you, I don't think my face has ever felt so soft. Like ever. It feels amazing. And finally the night cream. I think the night cream is my most favorite. Its a tiny bit thicker than the moisturizer but it too soaks into your skin rather quickly. It feels super fresh and hydrating.I love putting this on before going to bed.
All four products have the same scent. A barely there, sort of floral scent that doesn't last once the products are on your skin. Which I like.

To say I am super happy and impressed with these products is an understatement. I have finally found something that works well for my skin and has a whole heap of other benefits that Live Clean are typically known for: Pure vegan, 98% plant derived, silicone free and paraben free - Just to name a few.

What are your current favorite skincare products? Have you ever tried the Fresh Face range from Live Clean? Let me know!

March Beauty Box 5!

I am super late posting Marches beauty box 5! It actually arrived really late in the mail and then I just didn't get around to taking any photos until now. But here it is and I was pretty pleased with this one! I think I liked it so much because its very Springy and makes me excited for nicer weather.

Colour Me Pink Fragrance | A small sample that was incredibly hard to open. Its an okay fragrance. It just smells like flowers. Nothing special really.

Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum | I haven't tried this yet but I am so excited to! It sounds amazing and i've been looking for a nice eye cream/serum. It claims to be a powerful but gentle serum that fights puffiness, wrinkles and dark circles. I'll let you know how I make out with this one after I test it.

Mai Couture Blush & Highlighter Papiers | Now these look interesting. I've never in my life seen anything like this and I haven't tried them yet so I can't say for sure that they work. If you've ever used blush in this form before, let me know!

Personail Custom Floral Nail Polish Wraps | Best thing in the box in my opinion! I'm totally into florals at the moment so these are right up my alley.

Glamour Dolls Lip Gloss | While the packaging is super cute, I was hugely disappointed with this lip gloss. I was planning on showing a photo with me wearing it to show you guys but it was so terrible I couldn't even be bothered to post it. The consistency is horrible. Its like trying to put glue on your lips. And the color! Ick. I honestly don't know who this shade would look good on.

So there you have it. My beauty box 5 subscription is actually almost over. I'm only getting one more box! Are you subscribed to any beauty boxes? Let me know in  the comments!

What I Watched This Week

BLENDED- Adam Sandler movies for me are usually hit or miss. I either totally love them (like blended) or I end up feeling like I just wasted 2 hours of my life watching it (ridiculous 6 anyone?). Anyway, Blended was awesome! I love Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore together. Ever since The Wedding Singer days. Basically this movie is about two families that become 'blended' with lots of laughs and some romance along the way. Rating 4/5

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST- Pretty sure I don't need to review this one. Beauty and the Beast is one of my all time favorite Disney movies. My cousin was up visiting this week and we decided a Disney movie was a must. Rating 5/5

HEMLOCK GROVE SEASON 2- I finished season 2 of Hemlock Grove this week. Its not terribly great but its not a bad show either. If you like werewolves and vampires but in a much darker way than Twilight, you might like this one. I liked season 1 better than season 2. I've just started the 3rd season- lets hope it gets better! Rating 3/5

NANNY MCPHEE- Loved this! I think this came out like 10 years ago but I have never actually watched it until last night. A nanny shows up to teach 7 ill-behaved children a few lessons. I love movies with any kind of magic and this one did not disappoint! Rating 5/5

Let me know what you've been watching lately!

Disney Character Tag

AURORA- STORY OF YOUR FIRST KISS:
Oh god. I had my first kiss when I was 14 with my first 'real' boyfriend. We were at one of his friends house and there was a ton of people around and he was like laying on my shoulder and very awkwardly looking up at me and I knew he wanted to kiss. So we did. I remember feeling quite embarrassed.

RAPUNZEL- 5 THINGS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST:
1. Travel all of Canada
2. Travel every U.S State
3. Be completely debt free in the next 5 years
4. Ride in a hot air balloon
5. Design and build my own home

DORY- SOMETHING SOMEONE HAS TOLD YOU THAT YOU CAN'T FORGET:
Money doesn't control your life. Don't let it stress you out- Craig. (I'm still working on this one!)

POCAHONTAS- SOMETHING NEW YOU TAUGHT SOMEONE:
I feel like I don't teach anyone anything haha. Let me get back to you on this one!

MULAN- DO YOU TRUST YOUR GUT FEELING?
All the time. I actually feel as though I have very strong intuition when it comes to certain people or situations.

JASMINE- THE STORY OF WHEN YOU HAD TO REALLY TRUST SOMEONE. WAS IT EASY?
I can't think of any particular moment when I really had to trust someone. But if it happened I would say it probably wasn't easy considering I have a hard time trusting people.

BELLE- IS THERE SOMEONE YOU ARE CLOSE TO WHO NO ONE ELSE LIKES? WHAT'S THE STORY?
I feel like this is kind of mean for a question! But the answer is no. Honestly most times I feel like i'm the one no one else likes! haha kidding...kind of.

ARIEL- WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU BELONG AND WHY?
At the moment I think I am right where I belong. Here, with Craig and my family close by so I have lots of support when our baby comes next month.

TIANA- A TIME YOU TRIED YOUR HARDEST FOR SOMETHING:
Hmm, the only thing I can think of is my year of college. I tried really hard to get my diploma with honors- and I did, but it wasn't easy.

SIMBA- SOMETHING A PARENT HAS TAUGHT YOU:
I can thank my mom for teaching me pretty much every valuable thing I've learned.

ALICE- EVER DONE DRUGS?
I did experiment with weed back when I was a teenager but that's all.

PETER PAN- SOMETHING FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD THAT YOU STILL LOVE:
Well Disney of course. I don't think i'll ever stop loving Disney. But aside from that when I was a kid I used to love being inside when it was raining during the day and get all snuggly in my pjs and watch a scary movie. Now as an adult every time its rainy during the day I get this overwhelming feeling of wanting to be home, snuggled up, watching a scary movie. I love that feeling.

MERIDA- WHAT ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?
After sitting here thinking for far too long about this, I don't think I have a passion..
Its sad that the only thing I actually feel passionate about is my relationship, not to mention cheesy..
Jeeze, I need to find a hobby.

QUESTION OF THE DAY
What is something from your childhood that you still love?

9 Mile River Trail | Explore N.S

"the rain has fallen
and the forest is sighing
thanks
flowers raise their heads"

With paths full of mud and a warm breeze in the air, yesterday it had finally begun to feel like spring. Today, however, we woke up to the ground covered in a fresh bed of snow. Pretty disappointing.

Oh well. As long as we have some warm days thrown in between the frosty ones, i'll be happy.

I had so much fun yesterday traipsing through the wet forest with Craig and his little brother (who was quite excited learning about all things nature). Stopping to pick fresh mint leaves and hopping over mud puddles- well in my case, waddling my way around them- I didn't want the trail to end.

I can't wait for true Spring to arrive and be outside like this more often.

How To Deal With Work Bullies

When I hear the word Bully the image of a school bully pops into my head. I think that's the case for most people. But along with school bullies and cyber bullying, there's one other type of bullying that is very prominent in the adult world- Work Bullying.

Work bullying happens all the time, in a whole slew of different careers. Whether from a boss or a co-worker I'm sure at some point we've all experienced being bullied at work. I know I have. At just about every job to be quite honest. If you haven't experienced bullying at your work place you may be wondering how does an adult allow themselves to become bullied? You may have that traditional image in your head of bullying being one person picking on another, calling them names, beating them up etc. But bullying comes in a lot of different forms.

A few common forms of bullying that happens in the workplace are Humiliation, Intimidation, Harassment, Mocking, Insults, Domination- the list goes on. If you work with someone who seems to purposely make your life a living hell while you're at work, then yes, you are a victim of workplace bullying. Read on for some tips on how to deal with work bullies.

Do not blame yourself
First and foremost, do not blame yourself for a bullies actions. Especially if you know you are working hard and doing what you're supposed to be doing. You are not the reason for another person being cruel.

Do not let them make you feel guilty
This is one I have struggled with a lot. Learn how to say no. If you know that a boss or co-worker is taking advantage of you because they know you won't say no to them, they will just keep doing it. Set your boundaries straight from the get-go and let them know you won't be easily taken advantage of. This is something I wish I had done when starting any of my jobs. I ended up doing a lot of things that I didn't want to do or didn't feel comfortable with because I was constantly made to feel guilty for not wanting to do it. Just remember, they're most likely trying to make you feel guilty only because they themselves don't want to do whatever it is they're asking you to do. Learn to say no in a professional and respectful way and hopefully they'll back off once they see you mean business.

Let a superior know what's going on
I know this might sound silly and like you're a child running to an adult for help but its always good to let your boss know that a certain employee is giving you a hard time. Maybe that employee has also been harassing another co-worker that was too afraid to tell someone. Or maybe your job performance is less than perfect because that person is constantly giving you a hard time. Your boss will most likely appreciate you coming to them and will handle the matter. Unless of course your boss is the one doing the bullying, which leads us too....

Confront the bully
If you can build up enough courage to confront the person who has been bullying you, whether its your boss or a co-worker, things should hopefully calm down. Maybe the bully doesn't even realize that they are in fact bullying you. Maybe they have some stresses at home that they are taking out on you. Sitting down and letting the person know they've been treating you unfairly and that you won't stand for it anymore just might open their eyes. Because honestly, bullies feel powerful when nobody stands up against them.

I hope these tips were at least a little bit helpful. If not you can always be like me and suffer in silence everyday until you eventually leave without ever speaking your mind! ( I'm totally kidding, don't be like me!!) But seriously, my biggest piece of advice would be to set your boundaries straight away and don't become a pushover. And never be the one who bullies other people at work cause that just isn't cool.

QUESTION OF THE DAY
Have you ever experienced workplace bullying?
How did you resolve it?

Forever 21 Beauty Wishlist

I have been on the Forever 21 website more times than I can count and it was only recent that I've discovered that Forever 21 has a beauty section. I know, I don't get out much.

I mean their beauty range isn't exactly glamorous but they do have some really cute stuff that I wouldn't mind getting my hands on!

1. BLUSH AND HIGHLIGHTER DUO- $6.90
How cute is that! I've never used a blush/highlighter duo before and i'm just loving the rose gold packaging.

2. MAKEUP BLENDER SPONGE SET- $8.90
No idea of the quality of these sponges or how well they would work but I mean for less than nine dollars for two, why not give them a try!

3. EYESHADOW PALETTE- $11.90
I think i'm more drawn to the wooden-look packaging of this product to be completely honest considering I never even wear eyeshadow. But if I had this palette I would definitely experiment with using eyeshadows.

4. FLORAL YOUNG & FREE PADDLE BRUSH- $6.90
I have got such a thing for floral patterns lately!! I want floral everywhere.

5. HYDRANGEA PRINT BRUSH SET- $6.90
Again, mainly because of the floral print! I also need a new pretty brush set to go with my new eyeshadow palette ;)

Whenever I decide to make my way over to Forever 21 i'll be on the lookout for these items! Let me know if you've ever tried any of these and if the quality is any good or if you've tried any beauty product from Forever 21 for that matter!

"Sometimes heaven is just a hot bath"- My Bath Time Essentials

There's nothing better than dipping your toes into a hot bath after a long stressful day. For me, bath time is my time. I can just soak in there forever until I become a prune. Along with that relaxing hot water there are some other things I need to make my bath time experience truly amazing..

A BATH PILLOW

If you don't already have one of these bad boys stuck onto your tub, please invest in one! It makes all the difference in the world especially if you like hanging out in the tub for an hour like me. They're super cheap. I got this one at Winners for like seven dollars.

REALLY NICE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER

Like this Live Clean Vitamin Multi Boost set* I've been using and loving lately. As most of you know, Live Clean is my absolute favorite brand and I was super happy when I received this latest set in the mail to try out. The scent is to die for, I can't even describe what it smells like. It just smells amazing take my word for it! What makes this duo even better is that its jam packed with vitamins your hair will love like Provitamins B, D and E and it also has avocado extract rich in vitamin K and antioxidants! This set has quickly made its way to the top of my favorite Live Clean shampoo list!

BUBBLE BATH

What bath is complete without bubble bath?
A Lush bath bomb or bubble bar would be my ideal bubble bath to use but sometimes you just can't make it into a store and you have to improvise a little bit! If I don't have any Lush products handy i'll usually just use whatever body wash or shower gel I have on hand like this Beautiful Day shower gel from Bath and Body Works that I received as an Easter gift! It smells awesome and bubbles up quite nicely!

A GOOD BOOK

The most important part of a bath in my opinion!
Very rarely will I even step foot into a bath without having a book in hand. The tub just so happens to be my most favorite place to read. Its quiet and soothing, just perfect.

QUESTION OF THE DAY
What are your bath time essentials?

PREGNANCY| 32 Week Update!

Hey guys! Its been a few days since I've last posted so Happy April! and I hope you're all doing well. Since i'm now 32 weeks along (how do I only have 8 weeks left!?!) I figured I would do a little update of sorts.

This picture was actually taken last week at 31 weeks but since I was too lazy to take another photo today, this will do. Besides I didn't get much bigger within the week anyway.

How far along? 32 weeks

Maternity clothes? Kind of. I've definitely grown out of my regular pants but I can get away with wearing stretchy pants like the jeans above. I'm starting to grow out of most of my shirts but I can get away with buying XL shirts or XXL shirts instead of heading to a maternity store- that crap is expensive!

Stretch marks? Still none on the belly!! I'm shocked really, I figured I'd have tons. Although like I said in my previous update I did get some on my boobs early on.

Sleep? Don't even get me started. Sleeping sucks now. I cannot find a comfortable position at all, I roll over on my back constantly and I am incredibly sore when I try to maneuver myself around.

Best moment this week? Starting my maternity leave early!!! I was put off by the doctor yesterday and I couldn't be happier about it.

Miss anything? A few things haha

Movement? Tons! Its so awesome seeing my belly actually moving.

Food cravings? No not really.

Labour signs? Not real labour but I have been experiencing braxton hicks lately.

As the due date gets closer I am getting more and more excited but also extremely nervous! I can't wait until this little baby gets here! :)
